Title:Intravitreal avastin injection for ischemic ocular conditions

  Abstract: Short term reports of intravitreal bevacizumabhave shownpromising result in treating ocular conditions related to neovascularisation. In PDR the current of choice is PRP. Intravitreal bevacizumab either alone or in combination with photodynamic therapy with verteporfinis safe and effective in treatingchoroidal neovascularisation secondary to age related macular degeneration.
