Important instruction regarding Eye Donation
If you want to donate teh eyes you may register your name with the eye bank. So that your relatives begin aware, will follow the procedure. however it is not a legal requirement.
Relatives should contact the eye bank as early as pasible immediately after death.
Close the eyes after death immediately.
Switch off all the fans in the room.
Keep moist cotton pad over the eyes.

It is necessary to enucleate the eyes within 4 hrs of death.
