| Not everyone is lucky to have perfect vision thus it is important for parents to monitor their child’s vision. NIO houses an independent wing established with an aim to diagnose and provide early treatment for a child to have better quality of life. The clinic is dedicated to the development of special techniques for examining and treating children's eye diseases. The most common and even complicated childhood eye diseases are treated in this clinic.Refractive errors, strabismus, amblyopia, congenital cataract, genetic eye diseases and congenital glaucoma to name a few. Jointly with the retina services, it conducts screening and treatment of premature babies for ROP, and makes all efforts to enhance the residual vision in children with visual impairment. Parents are made aware of and also educated about eye diseases and general eye care. | |||||
