Dr. Aditya Kelkar at APACRS 2014 conference in Jaipur
The APACRS, short for the Asia-Pacific Intraocular Implant Association (APIIA), was founded in 1987 as a forum to exchange ideas and to discuss development in cataract and refractive surgery in the Asia-Pacific region.
Dr. Aditya Kelkar, renowned ophthalmologist and Director, National institute of Ophthalmology, Pune was among the array of eminent invitees from all over the world who expressed their thoughts on various issues at APACRS annual meet this year. He presented a paper on ëIris claw IOLí, which is implantable artificial intraocular lens that can be used in patients who have very limited vision after the removal of cataract.
