Dr. Pankaj Bendale is a glaucoma specialist with a strong academic orientation and a keen interest in teaching and surgical training. He is well known for actively sharing his knowledge with students, fellows, and colleagues, and has contributed extensively to academic forums through presentations, live surgical demonstrations, and conference participation.

He did his M.B.B.S. from Grant Medical College & J.J. Hospital, Mumbai, Maharashtra, M.S. (Ophthalmology) from INHS Asvini, Mumbai, Indian Navy’s premier hospital and F.A.E.H. (Glaucoma) – Fellowship in Glaucoma Diagnosis & Management, Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
