She serves as the CEO of the National Institute of Ophthalmology and is the Founder of Natraj Foundation, Pune, a trust dedicated to the promotion of art and culture. She is also a Trustee of Nritya Bharati Kathak Dance Academy.

Her contributions have been recognised through several prestigious honours, including the Aarogya Shree Puraskar presented by Aarogya Seva Pratishthan in 2001, the Vikas Ratan Award conferred in New Delhi by the International Integration and Growth Society in 2001, and the title of Most Impactful Health Care Leader (Global Listing) by the World Health & Wellness Congress.

Since 1993, she has been actively organising conferences and has also performed nationally. From 2001 onwards, she has been invited annually as faculty to speak on subjects related to hospital management.
